This is after they won against Uasin Gishu’s Tumka at 3 goals to 1 goal in the penalty shot out after the two teams drew in the 90 minutes.

The match was played at the Eldoret ASK show on Sunday.

They pocketed sh 200,0000 and they qualified for the National Chapa Dimba na Safaricom tournament which will be held at Kinoru Stadium while the runners up, Tumka, were given sh 100,000.

Kitale queens were crowned the women's team after beating Itigo girls 4 goals to nill (0) and were awarded sh 200,000 and sh 100,000 respectively.

The two teams will join Bishop Njenga Girls and Lugari Blue Saints from Western, Manyatta Boys and Ndhiwa Queens from Nyanza as well as Super Solico and St Mary’s Ndovea from Eastern for the national finals.

The competition aims to scout for youth talent, developing grassroots football, and ultimately propels gifted players to the national team.

This year an all-star team will be selected to attend a training camp in Spain during which they will play against local youth sides
