Social media has become a popular media to address the majority of people.

Many youths use social media as the primary source of news and information that affects their daily life.

Many leaders have opted to use social media to address their audience as the information there is delivered on time, unlike media station that delivers news like on an hourly basis.

Renowned City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has asked the investigative agencies to take action and arrest leaders who use social media for wrong reasons as it is against Chapter 6 of the Kenyan Constitution.

"Dear DPP (Directorate of Public Prosecution) Noordin Haji & DCI(Directorate of Criminal Investigation) George Kinoti: Use of Social Media by State/Public Officers to spew Falsehoods, Hatred, Personalized Attacks et al violates Chapter 6 of The Constitution, Public Officer Ethics Act & Anti-Corruption Act & is Corruption & Abuse Of Office. Arrest them," reads a Twitter statement by City Lawyer Donald Kipkorir.

This has come at a time where some Kenyan leaders have been involved in heated social media exchange and even personal attacks,  which the lawyer says is against the law.

The vocal city lawyer has never been shy to criticize the government on matters leadership, policy making, corruption among others.
