This comes amid a new scandal revelation, the Arror and Kimwarer dams saga which are suspected to have eaten up Ksh21 billion in taxpayers' monies.

Speaking on Saturday, Aladwa warned a section of politicians who have linked the same to Deputy President William Ruto and his 2022 presidential bid against politicizing the issue.

He cautioned the team which has been crying foul in the ongoing probe, claiming that it is aiming a specific community, telling them to keep off the matter.

"Let the people crying foul and linking this issue to Ruto stop it and let it be handled by the relevant institutions. This has nothing to do with a person, its a national issue," he said.

The vocal legislator was speaking on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show Saturday morning.

Aladwa also warned Ruto's allies against teying to stall the operation by including the Directors of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Public Prosecutions (DPP) in their attacks.

He warned that the party will be forced to call out its supporters to demonstrations should Ruto's wing make any attempt to interfere with the ongoing investigations.

"As ODM we will not allow anyone to touch George Kinoti (DCI) or Noordin Haji (DPP) and any attempt will be met with rejection from the party and its supporters," he said.

"The two are doing a food job and we will not allow anyone to stall that. We will call out our supporters to demsotrations should they make such an attempt," he added.

Ruto's camp has raised concerns that the investigative bodies are being used to paint Ruto corrupt with an aim of making him a hardsell come 2022.
