For six years now, Gichana, a renowned IT guru, has been languishing in jail over alleged money laundering and fraud, allegations which are yet to be proved.

"We are very bitter that Magufuli is looking down upon us. His government has illegally locked Gichana without fair trial," said Douglas Maati, ODM Youth League chair in Kitutu Masaba.

Throughout his stay in prison, Gichana has been released five times only to be rearrested later by authorities.

But Maati now says President Magufuli must release the businessman before coming to Kenya or face their wrath.

"If he can't charge him why not release him? We are tired with his antics and we may resort to street protests in his presence if by Friday nothing new comes out of Arusha cells."

Next Friday, Magufuli and President Uhuru Kenyatta will be hosted by ODM leader Raila Odinga at Nyatike before a mega meeting in Migori, which is situated barely 100 KM from Kisii.

Conspicuously, Bosco enjoyed warn relationship with Raila for many years and the latter has often said he is keen to have him released.
