Opposition leader Miguna Miguna has been having it rough admitting that he is part of a political dynasty, the second most popular and among the most powerful in Kenya.

His latest such declaration was during an interview on KTN earlier in the week.

This has everything to do with his possible future political plans.

The former Premier does not want to appear like a part of the political groups that have been troubling Kenyans.

He wants to appear like a fresh pair of hands as he prepares for another shot at the presidency and doesn't want to be associated with the past failed leadership.

Odinga is well aware that associating himself with a dynasty will only subject him to questions on what his father and founding Vice President Jaramogi Oginga did for the nation.

This is with regards to the thought by most Kenyans that the nation has made very little progress since independence, and political leaders are to blame for that.

Also, Raila seems not believing that he is part of a dynasty having personally come along way and seen it all in the course if his political tenure.

From serving jail sentences, going into exile, fighting the government during retired president Daniel Moi's era and becoming a Prime Minister, he believes that he has done it alone.

He believes that he has done so much alone that he deserves to be identified as Raila and not Oginga's son, hence the denial.

However, the truth is that he is indeed part of a dynasty and so are all his family members.
