The pastor who was heading to Kakamega in a Homeboyz matatu was standing in the vehicle while other passengers were seated.

The passengers tried to warn him of the police ahead, but he ignored saying that nothing could deter him from preaching.

The pastor had not paid for any seat and was the only passenger in excess during the journey; which is against traffic laws.

The man of God tried to resist the law noting that God’s word was beyond mere laws, but the armed police forced him off the bus.

“I am not going anywhere. No one can stop the word of God to prevail. I will preach, preach and preach,” he said.

The tout had tried to warn the pastor of the incoming consequences but he repeatedly refused to comply.

The arrest comes at a time when government has intensified its efforts in enforcing traffic rules especially during the festive season.
