Taking to his Instagram account, the stylish county boss shared a picture with top gospel singer Willy Paul which he captioned:

“#PlayKeMusic cc @willy.paul.msafi @gatesmgenge@chris001ke @daddyowen @realshinski@thenaiboi @officialsusumila @jalangoo.”

Different people, including musicians and stakeholders in the music industry have been parading the Kenyan Music crusade which is aimed at making TV and radio presenters to give Kenyan music first priority on the airwaves.

Kenyan musicians Khaligraph Jones and Naiboi were the first ones to attack Kenyan presenters for giving priority to Tanzanian and Nigerian songs as opposed to Kenyan songs.

Following this heated discussion, top radio presenter Jalang’o revealed through his social media platform that they had organized a meeting with presenters, DJs and musicians to pave a way forward.

“##PlayKenyaBuyKenya Presenters and Djs are now ready to meet with Artists and within a week thedate will be announced...Venue is @kicc_kenyathanks to @nanawanjikugecaga ! But then again even if we meet and agree on the way forward another big stake holder is the FANS! The question is DO YOU EVEN LOVE KENYA MUSIC AND ARE OUR ARTISTS HAVING FULL SUPPORT OF THE FANS?,” shared Jalang’o.
