Most of us believe that interviews are as easy as pie. Ironically, that is not the case. A number of people particularly graduands usually fail the test.
Most graduands are fond of blundering during interviews hence it is more important if they are schooled on certain aspects of life
Here are the blunders you should avoid during an interview.
1. Not dressing appropriately
You are going for an interview, not a concert. Your dressing style really matters a lot in this case. Avoid the so-called casual apparels.
You need to presentable and smart. This should be at the back of your mind when going for an interview, first, make sure that you are in a suit with polished shoes and a nice appearance.
2.Coming to the interview with no knowledge of the company
Before going for an interview, ensure that you are equipped with background or some information about the company like what they do or produce so that when you are asked anything about the company, you are in the position to respond.
There are so many sources to find information about a company. Thanks to Google, it is the best platform which is not only convenient but also endowed with any information.
3. Last but not the least, not asking good questions during the interview. Asking relevant questions is an added advantage. However, most graduands think that asking questions may cost them which is not true.
At least, be proactive when the interview is underway. If you don't ask anything, the company will assume that you are not interested at all.
