The Ministry of Education has been asked to take a step that does not stress up parents, who buy books and other essentials of learning only for the curriculum to change abruptly and render the tools useless.
Speaking at children's home on Wednesday in Keumbu at Nyaribari Chache, the former Kisii Town Mayor Samwel Nyangeso faulted the Ministry of Education boss Amina Mohammed for changing the curriculum abruptly.
"Ministry of Education through the Cabinet Secretary Education Amina Mohammed should take a crystal step, to stop stressing up parents by making abrupt decisions. You can not change your mind a few days ago and change the education curriculum in the country," Nyangeso said.
Nyangeso also asked leaders from Kisii region to be in the forefront in showing a good example to Kenyans, in helping the needy in this festive season as a way if celebrating Christmas and new year.
Nyangeso also visited the school of the blind in Misisita in Bonchari together with a group called Brother's Keeper Kenya (BKK) to share with the needy and make them enjoy the season.
