On his official Facebook page, Kuria lauded Ruto for his continued trips across the country but asked him to also remember Mt Kenya in his programme.

Kuria was making reference to the DP's trip to Busia County on Friday where he launched a multi-million water and irrigation project at Lower Nzoia.

"Congratulations Deputy President William Ruto for launching the Sh5 billion irrigation project in Busia. The great people of Busia deserve no less," read part of his post.

Kuria mentioned a number of stalled dams projects in counties such as Embu, Tharaka Nithi, Kiambu, Nyeri, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nyandarua,L aikipia and Murang'a among others, whose implementation plan documents lay idle in the ministry of agriculture office.

"Just a polite reminder that Maara Dam in Tharaka Nithi, Rupingazi And Kithino in Embu, Naru Moru Dam in Nyeri, Malewa Dam in Nyandarua, Rwabura Dam and Kinale Dam in Kiambu, Wiyumiririe and Nanyuki Dams in Laikipia, Maragwa Dam in Muranga are gathering dust in the drawers of the Ministry of Agriculture," argued Kuria.

He further said: "The entire Meru County has no single project. The people of Thwake, Busia, Kimwarer, Arror, Itare, Mzima, Chemususu Dams deserve them."

He bashed Ruto for neglecting Kiambu, his county of residence, as he reminded him that the people there needed development too like Busia.

"The people in my region are not children of a lesser God," he lamented.

The self-declared 2022 presidential aspirant warned the deputy president of unspecified consequences if he does not attend to the development needs of other regions.
