A section of leaders from Kisii County have reacted after Deputy President William Ruto on Friday hosted President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga at his Karen residence.
The leaders led by former Bomariba ward MCA aspirant Thomas Nyangaresi said Raila has conceded that DP Ruto is the boss.
"Raila's decision to go to Ruto's home means Raila is a loser. The former Prime Minister has accepted that DP Ruto is the boss the same way he accepted Uhuru as the President," said the ANC party politician at Igonga on Saturday.
He said Raila has lost the supremacy battle and it is high time he should retire in peace.
However, according to the politician, there is no permanent political enemy in politics.
Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i said there is no problem the three leaders meeting.
"We are working hard to spread the building bridges initiative. I don't see any problem Ruto hosting Raila and Mr. Kenyatta at his home," said the lawmaker.
Tong'i maintained that it is not the time for divisive politics and called on Kenyans to shun local leaders who are out to engage in hatred politics with the aim of dividing the electorates.
