Deputy President William Ruto has finally responded to Raila Odinga after the opposition leader criticised him for moving around the country.
Speaking in Vanga, Ruto lashed out at those critical of his movement around the country, saying that he was doing the job for which he was elected.
''I was elected as the Deputy President of Kenya. Nobody should ask me why I am moving around the country because that is what I was elected for. I was elected to work for the people of Kenya,'' Mr Ruto fired.
His loaded remarks come hardly days after Odinga told off members off the Tangatanga Movement, chastising them for moving around the country for political purposes instead of working for Kenyans.
The veteran opposition leader had said that the time for politics would come in 2022.
