A section of Maseno University students committed with helping out the ailing Ruth Pamela has pledged to go door-to-door in the quest for Sh8 Million.
Ruth Pamela, a fourth-year Fisheries student at the institution is currently admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital where she is battling the Cancer of the Blood (Leukaemia).
Due to insufficient resources to treat her locally, Ruth has been advised to go for medication at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Texas, USA.

On Friday, the students led by Alomba Samson pitched a tent at Siriba Campus to collect funds for their ailing colleague.
"We will be going from hostel to hostel to ask for help. We urge the fellow students to help us in this race," said Alomba Samson on Sunday.
The students have also requested Kenyans on Twitter to join #IsupportRuthPamela hashtag and make her condition known to the world.
"Kenyans on Twitter, let us join the hashtag #IsupportRuthPamela and make her condition known to the world. Anyone from the media, we need your support too," he added.
