The family of a Form Two student who died after a motorbike she was riding in was involved in an accident in Nyamache is calling for help to bury their loved one.
The girl, Bosibori Machoka until her death was a student at Suguta Secondary School in Kisii County.
She was returning home from school for half term on Monday when a motorbike ferrying her together with her two friends collided head-on with Mobamba Secondary School bus.
Her family is now appealing to well-wishers to help them bury her.
"As a family, we are in pain following the death of Bosibori. Well-wishers and local leaders need to intervene to help us give the deceased a good send off since we are unable to cater for the burial expenses," Okeyo said as reported by Egesa FM.
He said the body of the deceased was moved from Nyamache Hospital morgue to Christamarriane Hospital morgue in Kisii.
Okeyo said locals are meeting at the deceased's home in Mokondo village, Kemera ward in Nyamira County for burial arrangements.
"Once we get funds, a burial date will be set," he stated.
