Waititu, who has since insisted that he is innocent, was pictured departing from the leaving the Integrity Center after some hours following a directives from the commission.
EACC's Chief Executive Officer Twalib Mbarak has confirmed that the governor is being probed for irregularly awarding tenders worth Sh588 million. The tenders have been linked to his family and close associates.
The county boss has been on the spotlight over the acquisition of property in different parts of Nairobi since he was elected county boss.
On his part, he has maintained that he is being targeted because of his association with Deputy President William Ruto.
He believes that his support for the second in command is the reason the detectives are after him.
He has, however, insisted that he will not change his tune to support any other candidate for the post of the Presidency in 2022.
