Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has finally found his better half.
Nyoro has been the butt of jokes from other politicians as they chided him to find a girl to marry.
On Saturday, the youthful MP showed the world his heart charmer during a 'ruracio' ceremony.
The ceremony was presided over by Nairobi-based comedian Kiengei making the whole function a rib-cracking affair.
During the function, Nyoro did not disappoint as he showed his skills in doing the popular Kikuyu Mugithi dance with his catch.
In September last year, President Uhuru Kenyatta left guests attending the wedding ceremony of Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata in stitches after he launched a soft attack against Nyoro.
"Murang’a County has produced great leaders including the late (Dr Julius Gikonyo) Kiano and (John) Michuki and had families, Mr Kangata was Kiharu MP for five years and now Mr Nyoro is serving the electorates of Kiharu and is not married," Uhuru said as the attendants burst into laughter.
Learning that his political rivals would capitalize on the President’s light joke on him and use it as a weapon to ‘finish’ him politically, Nyoro quickly organized for a lady to enter the church and sit among the congregants.
He then told the President that he has ‘people’ and asked her to stand and wave to the people.
