A 22-year-old lady who went missing has been found brutally killed and her body dumped in a forest.
The lady, Caroline Jepchirchir Chesire, a prison warder at Nakuru GK Prison, went missing on April 3 after a partying night with colleagues in Nakuru’s night joints.
Police found the body on Wednesday, in Githioro forest, Subukia.
Jepchirchir was last spotted together with two colleagues at the entertainment joint enjoying themselves.
One of the colleagues has already been charged.
"We were told that a body of a middle-aged woman had been recovered in Subukia and taken to a mortuary in Nyahururu. We went there and confirmed it is our daughter. This is so painful," the father said.
Nakuru Town East sub-county police commander Ellen Kabukuru confirmed the incident.
