The first term MP said sharing the images and videos will instill fear among others.

He also urged Kenyans to support the police in the fight against terror following the incident.  Several people have been confirmed dead following the deadly attack.

“Urgent appeal to all patriots, stop sharing photos or video clips of 14 Riverside terror attack. Please stop helping terrorists achieve their agenda of instilling fear in us. We will overcome. God bless Kenya,“ he wrote.

The attackers launched the attack at about 3:30pm local time.

Police chief Joseph Boinnet told reporters that one of the attacks blew himself up before hell broke loose at the hotel.

Police arrived at the scene swiftly in a bid to rescue the survivors of the attack.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i  later assured Kenyans that all buildings in the complex were safe following the entry by police into the place.
