President Uhuru Kenyatta's unique way of presenting himself to the public was yet again evident on Friday when he visited Nyeri for Music Festivals.
Sitting behind him, just across State House spokesperson Kanze Dena, was a female aide-de-camp.
The unidentified lady was dressed in Kenya Air Force attires and predictably in the rank of Lt. Colonel based on her ranking buttons.
She is believed to be the deputy to Timothy Stelu, the current aide-de-camp, who was sourced from Kenya Navy, the first to serve in the position in history.
Mr. Stelu replaced Lt Col. Victor Mburu, who went for further studies after one year in the duty that lapsed in July.
Before Mburu, Colonel Peter Njiru served Uhuru and retired President Mwai Kibaki before his promotion to Brigadier.
Among the duties of ADC include carrying the president's speeches, acting as Personal Assitant among others.
