Opposition Leader Raila Odinga on Saturday arrived at Kisumu and later attended an event at Siaya County.
On Sunday, the former Prime Minister paid courtesy call to veteran Kisumu politician Mama Grace Onyango, now ailing but still focused and alert.

The 91-year old veteran politician is still the sharp person who took on an all-male cast in Parliament in the 70s.
She became the first Kenyan woman mayor when she was elected in Kisumu in 1965, replacing Mathias Ondiek before being elected the first woman MP for Kisumu Town in 1969.

The Opposition Chief accompanied by Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili and Senate Minority Leader, Senator James Orengo, wished Mama Grace a quick recovery.

Also present was Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, Kisumu Woman Representative Rosa Buyu, Speaker Onyango Oloo, Nyakach MP Aduma Owuor and a host of Members of County Assembly (MCA).
