An elected Member of County Assembly (MCA) allied to the Raila Odinga-led ODM party has been put on the spot over poor leadership.
Jubilee politician Isaac Motari on Wednesday hit out at Bomariba Ward MCA Protus Moindi Aramba over allegations of neglecting the ward.
Motari slammed Aramba, noting that the MCA should not set foot in the ward until his term comes to an end in 2022.
Speaking on Wednesday at Mosasa area in Bomariba Ward, Motari claimed that the MCA has neglected his duties in the ward after he was successfully re-elected on August 8, 2019.
"Moindi should not step foot in the ward because he is just a failure. Let him continue partying in night clubs using public monies," he said.
Motari, who doubles up as the Kisii County Jubilee Party youth secretary general termed Moindi as an incompetent leader.
"I decided to buy timber to help in repairing the Mosasa footbridge so as to ease movement of people because Moindi has failed to construct a modern bridge. The MCA never cares about the struggle poor electorates are going through," he stated.
The vocal politician urged residents of Mosasa to rally behind him in the 2022 general elections, noting that he will not neglect his duties once he is elected into office.
