According to the former Mukurweini MP, the BBI project is unstoppable and would not be stopped by any forces.

Kabando wa Kabando, a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta, said the campaigns had gathered momentum across the country, thus fear from the team allied to DP William Ruto.

Initially, the Ruto team seemed to pull back, accusing their counterparts of using the forums to campaign ahead of 2022.

"Of #BBI: Western Nyanza Eastern Northern Coast locked 80+%. Nairobi 70% into April. Central fast coming home 80% templating Nakuru & Laikipia. Narok Samburu Pokot will hit 60% June. SMARTs will win 'reluctants'. Tangatanga bracing for REALITY SHOW titled: "CORNERED, DEFEATED"," the former MP said in a tweet.

Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen on Tuesday said the camp had opted to join the campaigns from this weekend.

"After consultations as leaders... we will participate and, where necessary, take charge of these public rallies beginning with Mombasa this weekend.," he said, as quoted by the Star.

Murkomen said they will support existing efforts and complement the already scheduled rallies.

"We are organising rallies in other parts of the country. We shall soon announce the calendar of complimentary rallies to reinforce those already published," he said.
