Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo has hit out as a section of Jubilee politicians who have been attacking opposition leader Raila Odinga lately.
The group led by Deputy President William Ruto has been accusing the former Prime Minister of using his closeness to President Uhuru Kenyatta to destroy the ruling party.
But speaking on Tuesday, Amollo, an ally of Raila, noted that he is being unfairly attacked, noting that Ruto and team are basically using him to communicate to the President.
He claimed that though the team is finding it easier using Raila to reach to the president and is afraid of openly confronting Uhuru to air their concerns regarding the party.
"Ruto and his people wrongly believe that Raila is the cause of their problems within the party and for that reason, they are attacking the handshake and Raila because they are unable to get to the president," he said.
The MP was speaking on NTV's breakfast show AM Live Tuesday morning.
He condemned the group, telling it to leave Raila out of its issues and instead put its house in order, adding that whichever problems are in the party are emanating from within.
"The problems of Jubilee are in Jubilee, not Raila, Raila is in ODM. Let Jubilee sort out its own problems," he added.
