Speaking at the African Divine church congregation in Hamisi, Vihiga County on Sunday, Ruto said that the Jubilee government is determined to unite the country.

He reminded those opposed to his leadership that he is geared towards development, adding that he will not give up in the quest to transform the lives of the people of Kenya as long as he remains in power.

“We will all be appraised when our terms come to an end. We will have to share with the people what we did for them during our tenure,” said the Deputy President.

The DP warned leaders using cheap politics to undermine him in public events, stating that he will continue traversing the country until President Uhuru Kenyatta achieves the Big Four Agenda.

Ruto was accompanied by Vihiga Governor Wilber Otichilo, MPs; Benjamin Washiali (Mumias East), Malili Injendi (Malava), Patrick Wainaina (Thika Town), George Murugara (Tharaka), Charles Gimose (Hamisi), Mwambu Mabonga (Bumula), James Gichuhi (Tetu) and Samuel Gachobe (Subukia).

Former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga, and former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale were also present at the event.
