Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati is in trouble for allegedly claiming that ODM party leader didn't compel MPs allied to the party to support 8 per cent VAT on fuel tax.
A Nyamira based politician Victor Swanya said Arati should be ashamed for his remarks.
"Opposition supporters should ignore MP Arati and other ODM MPs lying that Raila didn't force them to support the 8 per cent fuel tax.
"It is shameful that Arati can stand with Raila to cheat poor Kenyans who are being force by the Jubilee government to pay more on fuel," he said.
He stated that Arati has turned to be a disgrace not only to the Gusii community but, also opposition supporters across the country.
He regretted that ODM MPs have teamed up with Jubilee MPs to support Uhuru's new proposal on fuel tax.
"The electorates voted for greedy MPs who can't oppose the president. Poor Kenyans will continue suffering until 2022 unless the Jubilee government is sent home before 2022 elections," he added.
