A woman shocked Radio Jambo listeners on Friday morning when she narrated how a giant snake ‘kept’ by her former mother-in-law broke her marriage.
The woman only identified as Naomi had sent a message to Radio Jambo’s Gidi and Ghost on Friday April 05, 2019, requesting to be reconciled by her current husband.
Gidi and Ghost learnt that the 27-year-old Naomi was in her second marriage after leaving her first husband with whom they were blessed with three children.
“These three children who is there father, did you break up?” Gidi asked her. That is when Naomi decided to open up on what drove her out of her first marriage.
“We broke up because I was married in a family that practiced witchcraft in Mbeere. They had kept a snake in the house. When I saw the snake, I ran away,” she recounted.
“How did you know they had kept a snake?” Gidi asked. “We were staying with my husband in Nakuru. When I was almost giving birth to our third born, I went there so that the mother in-law can cook for me when I give birth,” she said.
She added, “While there, I started seeing funny things. I started investigating after neighbors gave me a hint. There’s a room that I had never entered, and one day I decided to enter while the mother-in-law was away.”
The woman says that when she entered the room, she saw a giant snake under her mother- in-law's bed.
“It was a big black snake. On the spot, I took my children and disappeared from that home,” she said.
