The leaders led by Walter Nyambati who lost the Nyamira County governor seat during the last year’s polls said Uhuru should not do a mistake of replacing Murkomen.

“Sacking Murkomen at the Senate will see Uhuru and Ruto parting ways. Uhuru should stop his plans and focus on delivering his big 4 agendas to Kenyans ahead of his retiring in 2022,” he said.

Nyambati said Murkomen is a close ally to DP Ruto and therefore, the two will not work together if Murkomen is sacked from his position.

“Ruto helped Uhuru in 2013 and 2017 to clinch presidency by convincing he larger Kalenjin community to vote for Jubilee. Uhuru must honor DP Ruto and stop any attempt to frustrate those leaders close to DP Ruto,” he added.

North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko dismissed reports that Uhuru will sack Murkomen after he opposed to a lifestyle audit ordered by the Head of State.

“We have freedom to express ourselves. There is no crime Murkomen committed opposing lifestyle audit because he spoke his mind and opinion. Uhuru will not do such thing sacking Murkomen who has been vocal pushingfor the Jubilee agenda,” he said.
