Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has renewed his attack on opposition leader Raila Odinga.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Khalwale said that Raila is his own worst enemy. He noted that Raila has made several mistakes, which have weakened him.
Khalwale noted that Raila terming other opposition leaders cowards after skipping his mock swearing in at Uhuru Park and masterminding the ouster of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as the Senate minority leader were grave mistakes.
He also said that the opposition leader’s decision to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta is yet another mistake.
The former Ikolomani lawmaker also said that the move to drag Deputy President William Ruto into the by-election loss has made him lose terribly in the Embakasi South and Ugenya by-election.
“That is how the cookie crumbles! @RailaOdinga, u should never have: - called us cowards after putting our lives on the line for u - sacked @Wetangulam in Senate - gone for the handshake - brought Ruto's name into the by-elections Shauri yako,” he tweeted on Tuesday.
The remarks of the former senator, who has endorsed Ruto for Presidency in 2022, come after ODM withdrew from the Wajir by-election.
