President Uhuru is also currently in a position to reunite the biggest political rivals in the country currently, using the very same stone.

This comes at a time when Raila and Deputy President William Ruto who are not in good political terms and have been engaging in verbal attacks.

Uhuru can use his position as the middle man to pull his strings to prevent political troubles that might emerge in the future due to the rivalry.

As has always been the case, it's very likely that Raila might once again reject presidential results in the instance he loses in the 2022 polls.

He has done this three times, rejections that have at times resulted in political wrangles and unrest in some parts of Kenya.

And to avoid this, and at the same time further build his legacy, Uhuru can try to unite the two leaders under the heating referendum debate.

He should get Ruto who is his junior to accept the reforms, and drop his current opposition of a section of the proposed changes.

Should this include the said executive expansion, then both being top leaders will obviously get top seats after the 2022 polls.

Consequently, this will reunite their supporters before the real union which might come after the referendum.

And since the three leaders enjoy the most support in the country, being in a single union will obviously win the referendum question before again excelling in the general polls.

This will most likely land both of them in the same government come 2022.

This will also give room for other younger leaders to come aboard and take over the opposition which has been under Raila for a very long time.

It will finally be a win-win situation.
