The frustrated supporters claimed that Raila has lost focus since the March 9th handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"It is sad that Raila is meeting the people he accused of being corrupt in this country and shaking hands. If these are the fruits of the handshake, Raila must retire before 2022," said Innocent Maeba.

Jackson Nyakundi condemned the former Prime Minister saying his old age is misleading him each day.

"The former Langata MP claimed that Waiguru is a 'thief' but, now he has changed tune. Raila is desperately seeking endorsement from Mt. Kenya region in 2022. We can't afford to continue having him as the official opposition leader," said Nyakundi.

Isaac Nyamora said the opposition is dead.

"It is time the country should have different leaders to play opposition politics since the current leaders have shifted into government. Raila got confused when he shook hands with Uhuru," said Nyamora.

During the meeting on Wednesday, Raila through is Facebook Page said he agreed with Waiguru to let “let bygones be bygones” and leave the matter of the NYS scandal in the hands of investigators.
