Julius Orang’i, the workers’ spokesperson on Wednesday said they have suffered for the 9 months they were jobless.

"We are happy that we are back to work after 9 months of agony, stress and struggle. 

"All the 250 workers are back to work and nothing is going to stop us from working since our families depend on us,” he said. 

The workers were sacked after they went on strike over poor payment by their employer.

“Nyamira leaders should not keep mum whenever workers are mistreated,” he noted.
