Tindereti Primary School will get a new nursery classroom in the new few months, Governor John Nyagarama has said.

This is after the school's headteacher Mr Fidelis Onduso lamented that the school lacks a nursery classroom during Monday's fundraiser that was attended by Governor Alfred Mutua.

In what is seen as a quick remedy, the county boss on Tuesday promised that his government will facilitate the construction of the new classroom. 

"The people of Tindereti asked about the nursery classroom. Starting July, the construction of a new nursery classroom will start without fail," said Nyagarama. 

He reiterated his commitment to improve the standards of education in the region. 

Nyagarama challenged parents to all school going children are enrolled to fulfill the government's free primary education policy.

"Every child must be allowed to go to school. Parents need invest in their children through education," he stated.

Governor Nyagarama also warned about increased cases of school dropouts, adding that parents should take responsibility.
