A new entrant into Bomariba ward, Bonchari Sub County in Kisii County politics has caused panic at the current MCA Protus Moindi's camp.
Douglas Nyang'au Moseti famously known as 'Eporogoki' who hails from Nyabiosi village has been traversing the ward wooing voters in readiness to 2022 general elections.
Mr. Nyang'au argued that it is time youths to take over leadership roles.
"We can't continue having lazy leaders to be in office. Bomariba needs a more vibrant and connected leader to help in boosting the lives of our people. Bomariba must shine," he noted.
Bomariba residents have been praising Nyang'au's decision to vie for the MCA seat in 2022.
"We will rally behind Nyang'au because he seems to be having good development ideologies unlike the current MCA has been missing from the ward," stated Evans Machoni.
A supporter to the current MCA Jones Ongworu said the current MCA Mr. Protus Moindi has lost focus in the leadership of the ward.
"I decided to decamp to Nyang'au's camp because in Moindi's camp there is no vision. He is only interested in embezzling public funds," said Ongworu.
