The video which was recorded during Rayvanny’s Dar Live Concert in Mbagala showed just how much Tanzanians loved Willy Paul.
Popular Radio presenter Willy M Tuva who had been invited to the concert got a chance to ask the audience which Kenyan artist they would have loved to see on stage.
“My name is Mzazi Willy M Tuva from Kenya, I am the parent of East African music. The one thing I would like to request from you, is to allow Kenyan music into Tanzania. Right? Which Kenyan artist would you like to see perform on this stage (Wananiita Mzazi Willy M Tuva kutoka Kenya, mimi ndio mzazi wa mziki wa Afrika Mashariki. Na kitu kimoja tu ningeomba, tuweze pia kufanya mziki wa Kenya upenye Tanzania. Ama vipi? Msanii mgani wa Kenya mgependa aje kupanda kwenye hili jukwaa)?” he asked.
The crowd then unanimously and repeatedly shouted Willy Paul’s name.
