Njeri Wanjiku, a mother in Githunguri, Kiambu County, is desperately searching for her two-year-old son who is reported to have been kidnapped by her house help.
The house help, identified as Stellah Marsellah, is accused of kidnapping the baby on Wednesday morning.
"My house girl Stellah Marsellah ( pictured) kidnapped my son yesterday. Anyone with information on their whereabouts please contact me on 0726346906. Please share widely. Matter reported OB No. 19/02/08/2018," read a post by Njeri on Facebook.
Njeri noted that her son was staying at her aunt's place together with the house help.
"The house help is from Kakamega and has taken care of my kid ever since he was one-month-old," said Njeri as quoted by Tuko.
Njeri reported that her house help kidnapped the baby when her aunt had gone to the market at around 11 am on Wednesday.
Stellah is said to have picked all her belongings from the house before running away with the baby.
Njeri said she tried to reach the house help on phone but the calls were not going through.
She reported the matter to the police and is now requesting well-wishers to reach her in case they spot the missing persons.
