Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko, in an audio recording, has claimed activist Japheth Moroko and former comedian Mdomo Baggy conned him Sh6 million each.
In the audio recording which he played on a Facebook Livestream on Wednesday night, the flamboyant governor is heard telling Nairobi County Woman Representative Esther Passaris that the two allegedly conned him a total of Sh12 million.
The county boss angrily swears that he will not allow them to enjoy the cash.
Moroko came into prominence with his 'Baba while you were away' slogan that took the country by storm.
"Moroko is a conman. He and Mdomo Baggy conned me six million each, the savings of my wife and children. Tell them that I will deal with them the street way and I will not allow them to enjoy the money," Governor Sonko is heard saying in the 31st minute of the video.
This came after his interview on Citizen Television was cancelled following a back and forth with JKL Live host Jeff Koinange.
Jeff explained that the interview had to be brought to an end over issues to do with editorial control, a decision that Sonko branded as biased.
The Nairobi County boss had gone to the interview armed with documents, WhatsApp chats and audio recordings of conversations with Woman Rep Passaris.
