A NASA allied MP from Nyamira County has fired warning shots to the Somali based Al Shabaab militants.

Borabu MP Ben Momanyi while condemning  Dusit hotel attack, said the Al Shabaab gang group will not have peace. 

"The criminals must be fought by all means because they have been killing and shading blood of innocent people. They will not penetrate in the country," he said.

The vocal lawmaker urged police officers to work around the clock to ensure there are no attacks from external enemies. 

He challenged Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i not to succumb following the Tuesday attack in Nairobi. 

"Matiang'i must be firm and ensure police officers are fighting the militants group. As leaders of this country we should preach unity, peace and harmony among our people and support police officers in the fighting terrorists," he noted. 

The lawmaker condoled with the families who lost their loved ones during the heinous terror attack. 

"I wish to send massage of condolences to the bereaved families. Let God continue giving families strength during this trying moment," he added.
