Orengo has insisted that he will initiate impeachment motion, claiming that he can be able to persuade MPs to kick out Ruto. The move has elicited sharp political divisions among leaders from either side of political divide.

But Murkomen, in a tweet, laughed off Orengo's plans, questioning his ability to initiate the motion given that 'he failed to deliver Ugenya constituency seat for ODM' which the party lost to David Ochieng'of MDG.

"If you can’t beat him in your constituency how will you impeach?" Murkomen questioned, suggesting that DP Ruto had sponsored Mr Ochieng' in the polls.

He added: "Congratulations to you my brother Hon. @David_Ouma for your scintillating &exhilarating victory. The people of Ugenya have demonstrated that humility, hard work and service to humanity matters much more than empty rhetorics, riddles and cock&bull stories.

Throughout the Ugenya campaigns, Senator Orengo cautioned locals against voting for Ochieng', claiming that he was sponsored by Dr Ruto. Instead, he rallied for immediate former MP Chris Karan, who lost by a margin of 4,000 votes.

In a tweet, DP William Ruto also indirectly admitted that both Ochieng' of Ugenya and Julius Mawathe of Embakasi South may have been sponsored by him, a move that could yet ignite his rivalry with ODM leader Raila Odinga.

"CONGRATULATIONS Ochieng (Ugenya) & Mawathe (Embakasi) for your God given victory. Jameni wacheni MUNGU aitwe MUNGU. The hustler nation has spoken, the people have decided. GLORY TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD," Dr Ruto said.

The latest development could be a blow to Mr Orengo, whose motion could face resistance in the assembly if Murkomen's statement is anything to go by. Orengo is yet to speak about the latest loss.
