Evangelist John Kay is one of the most celebrated and talented gospel singers in Ukambani region.

Speaking to Hivisasa on Tuesday, Kay disclosed that;
1. He went to Kivingoni High school in Masinga subcounty and finished in the year 2007.
2. He holds a Certificate in Theology.
3. He holds a diploma in hotel management and hospitality.
4. He resigned after working in five-star hotels to pursue his dream as a gospel minister.
He worked for Sarova Panafric, New Stanley hotel, the Hennessis hotel among others.
5. He's Married to Rebekah John kay and they are blessed with two children namely Emmanuel Mumo and Israel Ndaia
6. He hails from Ekalakala ward, Masinga subcounty in Machakos county.
His song "MÛNDÛ UIVA" has been nominated for the best eastern counties song of the year.
