According to Drew Ramsey, M.D. Psychiatrist, Author and Farmer Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Columbia University, Sukuma wiki is good for your brain.

The scholar argues that kales contain different nutrients needed for healthy development of the brain.  Kales contain omega-3 ALA (alpha-linolenic acid).

The fats tend to lower your risk of suffering from diabetes and depression.

Persons who eat kales more often are less likely to have issues to do with stress. The less stress one has, the healthier his brain will be.

On the other hand, kales reduce chances of one becoming obese. Both diabetes and obesity are dangerous to the brain. The two cause havoc to the brain and affect its functionality in different ways.

Studies have also shown that the brain depends on different essential minerals and vitamins in order to function properly.

These nutrients are found in kales. Some of the important nutrients in kales include vitamin K, which acts as an antioxidant in your brain hence making it function properly as required by preventing any form of clotting that could occur.

It is, therefore, recommended to increase your intake of kales for better brain functioning.
