Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna has questioned why President Uhuru Kenyatta has not fired the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Water and Sanitation Joseph Irungu who 'approved' the dams under controversy in the country currently.
The firebrand lawyer stated further that Irungu handled the money including the payments for the dams.
Taking on his twitter handle on Tuesday evening, Miguna who has been a great critic of the Jubilee administration since he was bundled out of the country, demanded that the head of state President Uhuru should crack the whip deeper.
"The Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Water and Sanitation who approved the Dams and handled the money including all payments for Dams in Kenya is Joseph Irungu," he tweeted.
He added that the Managing Director for National Water Conservation, Sammy Mburu, was also part of the clique that masterminded the transactions of the dams and wants them fired in a similar way the President fired the former Sports and Culture Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa.
"The MD for National Water Conservation is Sammy Mburu. Why hasn't Uhuru Kenyatta fired them as he did to Echesa?" he asked.
Miguna's remarks come barely a month since the crackdown on the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal took effect with the DCI grilling high-level government officials including the Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa, Treasury CS Henry Rotich among other government officials.
