Gor Mahia claimed their derby bragging rights in emphatic style with a 2-1 away win against a struggling AFC leopards side on Sunday at Kasarani stadium.

Gor, who netted goals in each half are unbeaten in 20 league matches. Gor went into this derby with a 13-point lead and three games in hand ahead of their noisy neighbours AFC leopards.

Jacques Tuyisenge slammed the opener in the 22nd minute after a cheeky back pass from defender Abdallah Salim to fire past Ezekiel Owade.

Gor restored their lead through a brilliant left footed volley from George Odhiambo in the 53rd minute after recovering a dead ball from a corner kick.

The goal was enough to seal Gor's derby bragging rights and three vital points to keep intact their unbeaten run.
