Popular Ugandan politician Robert Kyagulanyi famously known as Bobi Wine landed in Kenya on Wednesday on a special visit.

Wine will be in the country for a period of five days following an invitation by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.

MP Owino invited the Ugandan MP in his capacity as Secretary General of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association.

Mr Owino, in a press statement, said Bobi Wine is in the country to discuss various issues affecting the youth in East Africa.

He said that they will engage various stakeholders on how they can empower youth and encourage the youth to take the leadership role.

Mr Owino said he together with Bobi Wine will tour Embakasi East constituency before holding a public rally in Jacaranda Grounds on Saturday, October 13.

“During Honorable Kyagulanyi’s stay, we will collectively engage with various stakeholders to advance the youth agenda within African democracies. The purpose of this visit is therefore to initiate the development of linkages between like-minded youth leaders across the continent with a view to improving youth participation in respective democracies. The peak of this engagement will be a meet the people tour of Embakasi East constituency culminating in a public rally in Jacaranda Grounds on Saturday, October 13th at 2:00 pm where I will make an earth-shaking announcement,” said Mr Owino in a press statement.
