The Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula-led side is set to sue ODM for refusing to share funds with fellow parties in the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Speaking during a meeting with party officials in Nakuru on Sunday, Wetangula accused the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led side of excluding NASA member parties in sharing the funds.

He added that Ford Kenya would conjoin the remaining Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) and Amani National Congress (ANC) in its suit.

"ODM is appropriating all the political parties funds being paid from the exchequer to the exclusion of ANC, Wiper and Ford Kenya," he is quoted by the Citizen Digital.

The parties united under the alliance in search of the presidency in the concluded general polls, with Raila as the flagbearer and Wiper leader Kalonzo his running mate.

ODM has since maintained that it is entitled to the lion's share of the funds judging by its strength in the parliament and wider national influence.

The others have, however, demanded equity in sharing the resources, in a feud that has been in existence for a notable period.

The alliance has further been weakened by Raila's truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta earlier in the year, one that saw him branded a traitor for deserting millions of opposition supporters.

This was followed by Kalonzo's recent pledge of cooperation with the Jubilee government.
