Kenya Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia have allowed striker Ephrem Guikan to leave the club, after a troubled start to the season.
The Ivorian striker was not on the list sent by the club to CAF for the continental tournament, a clear indication that his services might not be needed this season.
He saw his chances of first team action limited after the club signed former Harambee Stars skipper Dennis Oliech, who has netted three goals so far.
Oliech's name was on the list of added players to participate in the continental showpiece, alongside the likes of Nicholas Kipkirui and Geoffrey Ochieng.
K'ogalo is preparing to face Sony Sugar this week in a KPL match, before shifting preparations to their match against Zamalek, in the group stages of the CAF Cup.
Gor has had mixed results in the new campaign, and lost their last KPL match on Sunday, resulting in pitch invasion and attack on match officials.
They were also kicked out of the Sportpesa Cup tournament in Tanzania and will be hoping to make amends in good time before losing further ground on league leaders Mathare United.
