Many remember the origin of this slogan 'Yes We Can'.

And yes, ladies we can. Kenyan women and others across the border now have another reason to smile.

This comes after the launch of an empowerment show on one of the Kenyan TV stations, KTN Home.

The show, dubbed Ms President, is a weekly show that will be running every Wednesday from 8 pm to 9 pm for the next 26 weeks.

It targets women of all ages. The production is meant to empower women and improve their self-esteem.

It was launched this week with several participants, mostly women showing up.

Among them was Mp Milly Odhiambo who was delighted and thanked the persons behind the idea.

She said a platform is all that most women need, something that has already been done.

The MP added that women can be elected in competitive leadership positions giving an example of herself and have a chance to be Kenya's president.

The show is meant to encourage women to vie in elective positions and empower them to believe in themselves.

It is a show that is expected to have a significantly positive impact keeping in mind the 2/3 gender rule that has been a concern in Kenya.

Many women will rise and become leaders in different companies and institutions as never before. Much thanks to KTN for the wonderful show.

Ladies do not purpose to miss this. It is a life changing show, an inspirational one.
