Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has differed with President Uhuru Kenyatta over his order for all government officials to undergo a lifestyle audit.
Uhuru said all top civil servants will be subjected to the test in his efforts to fight corruption.
However, speaking on Sunday at AIC Emining, Moi said there is no need of subjecting the civil servants to the test.
"There is no need of subjecting these civil servants to this lifestyle audit. The people who should be subjected to lifestyle audit are those who will be running for president," Moi said.
The Senator said he is ready to undergo the audit once he declares his interest to run for the top seat.
