The legislators Samuel Arama (Nakuru West), Nakuru County Woman Rep Liza Chelule, David Gikaria (Nakuru Town East) and Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati) said they are fully in support of the 10-10 pact.

The MPs, led by Arama, said the pact was clear that President Uhuru Kenyatta will serve 10 years and then hand over to his deputy William Ruto to lead for another 10 years.

“As Jubilee legislators, we have no other plan but to give Ruto the support come 2022,” said Arama.

Similar sentiments were echoed by Gikaria who said the Deputy President has experience in planning his politics.

“We are telling Kenyans not to worry because the hustler called William Samoei Ruto knows how to plan his politics and come 2022 all will be well. We are just calling on Kenyans to continue praying for peace,” said Gikaria.

Chelule warned those planning to shortage the DP.

“As Nakuru, we were psyched since 2013 that President Uhuru Kenyatta will go 10 years and then hand over to Deputy William Ruto for another 10 years and that is the case. Those coming up with other plans should first think of peaceful nation,” said Chelule.
