Neighbours are important people in our lives and we should learn to co-exist peacefully. Though it is naturally human to do things that affect them once in a while, we should not let that come between the bonds we create. Here are things you should never say to them.
1. Is your partner good in bed as mine?
They will question your morality because of that. Avoid being too personal. Show them you have boundaries.
2. Your daughter is hot, I want to hook up with her
The statement can attract resentment from the neighbors. Never make such statements to your neighbor for the sake of peace. He or she will start perceiving you from a different angle.
3. The last people who lived here kept calling police on us hope you are not the same type
They automatically know you are trouble when you tell them that. They will not want their kids around yours because they think you are bad influence. Everyone wants to come home to peace and quiet and now they know they won’t have that around you.
4. If you use drugs I can hook you up
No matter how obvious it looks that they are on drugs never offer to hook them up. You never know your judgment might be wrong. Or maybe it is something they are struggling with.
5. I will deal with your dogs the next time they enter my home
This might portray you us untidy or careless. They might want to stay away from your lawn for that reason. Or they could imagine your home is infested.
