Controversial musician Akothee has come out clear on the amount of money she spends to maintain her elegant apartments.
The mother of five claims she smokes out up to Ksh 2 million per month just to make sure the lavish homes remain attractive.
Through her Facebook post, Akothee dismissed her haters who doubt her wealth.
"They look good because someone is having sleepless nights wondering how to maintain them. I spend over Ksh 2 million a month to make sure everything is in perfect condition for these homes,” posted Akothee.
According to her, the least she had ever spent is Sh 1.5 million.
She went ahead to brag that she works very hard for her money and thus is not afraid to 'treat' herself.
Akothee further lamented that no one recognises her as a homeowner and more than once she has been approached to prove the expensive homes she is in possession.
She cited an incident when a man once approached her in a plane to ask if she could invite him to one of her homes.
The uncensored beauty has frequently been criticised by her fans for acting contrary to their expectations.
She has been on the spotlight for indecent dressing in one of her recent performances.
